Lots of true dirt coverage. After 30+ years of riding bikes, I finally got my name in a BMX mag. Thanks to Arod! Pretty cool to go thru the mag and know a few people and say a number of them rode our trails this summer.

BTW, seeing Robbo ride trails in person is a freaking treat.

Just went back through and checked out a bunch of the pics in this thread.

Wonder how many of the folks that posted in this thread still dig/ride?

I started going through and counting the folks I know..... then remembered that the thread is 177 pages long.... I can go back as far as page 2, the pic of Dave Y with the one-foot table on the left hip from panamoka. He is still ripping, and is on page 61 of Dig bmx's recent trails edition, not on monkey though..

The panamoka crew is almost the same as when this thread started surprisingly.

Been saying it for a while but this will most likely be my last year. Digging used to be half the fun but I have been having some problems with my wrist/hands and I have some tendonitis in my right elbow (I am a tile contractor so my **** is worn out from 26 years of troweling) that will not go away so it just doesn't seem like fun anymore, just painful.

But no complaints, Its been real fun being a part of my local trail scene and I will still keep in touch with the friends I have made and maybe just cut some laps at the local bmx track for fun.

This is the last thing I helped out on. It was the raddest thing I have been a part of yet. .

That is a rad thing to be a part of!!! :thumb: Bet that was a blast. Bummer to hear about your wrists/hands/elbows... I'm sure age will get to all of us eventually.

My crew is still around... in bits and pieces scattered over SoCal. The Koala Trails are still running. We had a scare for a bit because we lost our water source. But they've been staying alive with some hard work and little bit of rain recently. Here is the most recent video from there...


Edit: Doh... just realized I posted the same vid about 6 months ago!

The first rules of trails is you don't talk about trails, so....

I don't have anything to say... ;) and I definitely don't have pictures.

still diggin n riding. havent been out this year yet. last year the trails we were keepin up got badly damaged by a storm and lost a lot of followers, but a city-sanctioned bike park was built in a city a bit further away. the drive out there kinda sucks which makes it a bit hard, but last year it was a 4x track and a few pump tracks, with a single line of straight downhill djs. now we just won the 30k bell built grant so its time to ramp up the digging to see what we can make out of it!

I was gonna post a picture of the berm I'm working on..... as it is trails :).... but can't get the RM picture insert function to work. did something change or have I taken one to many hits to the helmet?

ok, berm picture now maybe...

will have a little (read: crappy) video (in 40 minutes according to vimeo) that shows the berm being run, but it is not exactly done yet...
