not too much lately. i picked up a bmx bike, and was riding the bikepark a little bit for a while. i'm going to start riding my voltage more often now that it's rained a bit.. went out hiking in some hills out in pleasanton last weekend looking for some potential spots to build some trails. my buddy and i are going to go back this friday w/ some tools and see what we can make of it...i'll let you know how it goes, maybe we'll ride out there if it turns out decent.
PS: Roach was the original name. I don't know the whole story but Race Face bought them or something and the "Roach" armor became the RF Rally FR/DH line (pretty sure that is the name). Some people say they slide down and don't protect the knee but mine have some huge gashes on the knee cup that I'm sure would have meant a hospital visit if I wasn't wearing them.
I don't know if I've seen you at the track or not.
I have not been out to the BMX track in almost a month due to leaving work at 6pm with sunset at 6:30 or whatever it is these days. I'm up in Livermore so sometimes when I'm really hurting I go and pedal around the Livermore BMX track but that sh!t sucks on 26" wheels.
When I do make it to the track I'm on my Yeti DJ.
I may be shuttling in Oakland this weekend with a friend (JM park, time to run over some hikers!). We were talking about making a trip to the trails up in Auburn but I don't know if we will have the time. Drop me your # and I will give you a call about it tomorrow. Do you have a shuttle rig?
