Here we go again...Should be some riding this afternoon, but not so sure now about salad for dinner.
Back from road biking, maximum speed 32.4 MPH, getting up the hill was somewhere south of 6MPH, still a good effort deserving of a tossed salad. Normally I don't get tossed salad but today I deserve it. PICS TO FOLLOW.
back from camping. exhausted. these kids need to gtf into bed so i can have a damn beer and put my feet up. camping site turned out great. had nice hikes yest. and today. low in 30s tested limits of our gear (although i was fine, wife and kids were chilly).

I didn't feel that was a appropriate post and I deleted it. You are not Jim Banned. The Kid is a Jailbird and I never would have allowed him to live there. Now Mom has to find a place to live and a job also. It makes my head hurt thinking about it....

Today's ride makes 20 for this month, not bad for March. Celebrated with a mini-nap and sopes de pollo. Life is good.
impressive. most impressive. i consider it a great month if i average one ride per week. what i lack in quantity i try to make up for in quality.

I hear ya on the quality. Wilson's has some of the finest DH terrain WNC has to offer for sure.
another good hour of weight lifting on top of 7.5 miles of walking to end my day. Starting to feel less like an old fat man and more like an old dude getting fit and ready to have a kick ass summer
