Okay, so whats the deal with the markings on the sliders? They are suppode to get 125mm of travel, but only 115 is shjowing on my slider. Is 10mm of travel accounted for inside the lowers? Is this a problem with the New spring I put in?

Arrrrrgggggggggg! Thanks for any help.

i read somewhere about 10mm of negative travel, but i don't know what that is all about(?)

i think they are just stiffing us out of the full 125mm of travel...

I'd be surprised if the Psylo series of forks got 110 mm of useful travel. My XC NEVER felt like a 5" fork.

Dude! That would be great.

I've actually been pleasantly surprised so far with this fork, coming off the Fox Van125R. But it really doesn't feel like 5" in the chop, or maybe the rebound just sucks. ;)

the psylos DO get full travel, been there done that, if you cant bottom it out then remove some oil if you have the XC version.

the markings go to 115 but a little more stanchion should be exposed, actually you should have TRAVEL+19mm or so exposed.

I think they look kinda cool.

I sure wouldn't stop and go "Gee, I wonder if I'm right at 4"....nope, 4 1/4", lemme turn this thing here......nope 3 5/8", lemme try this again.......there we go, 4" exactly, alright, lets ride!
" Useful, no. Novelty, yes.

Ok heres the low down from RS:

They told me the psylo xc has 5mm of sag.
when you measure from the 115mm mark
to the dust seal its about 5mm so that would
make it 120mm of wheeltravel w/ 5mm of sag.

I think if there going to put those ugly markings
on there why don t they set it up so it says 125mm.
The rep said he gets plenty of calls about this
very situation.

They are pretty lame. Even more so because they don't really seem to help out at all! I must admit that for the first ride or two it was neat to be able to easily check my sag, but thats about it.
