Anyone make 142mm SS hubs(wider flange gap)?
Or
Could you throw a SS free hub body on a wider hub and mod the axle? So a 150 or 148mm(157 or whatever the fukc is out now)hub with shortened or 142mm axle and SS free hub body. What brands have non threaded axles and both SS and conventional free hub bodies with the same mount? My Profile and Hadley SS hubs freehub bodies are about 9-15mm narrower than a nine/ten speed free hub body. Am I missing something fundamental to this idea?

Are they for 142mm(or 135mm) hubs? I'm wanting the widest flange spacing I can get if possible. Currently have an adapted 135mm to 142mm ten speed hub, if replacing, I want the stiffest wheel I can build(32 spoke).

The King and Hadley are 142x12 axles in the 135mm shell. Still a wider flange spacing than the 10 speed but not as wide as it could be if it was a ss 142.

Industry Nine does a SS specific (short freehub body, wide flanges, zero-dish) rear hub that you can get in a 12x142 configuration.

Thanks guys. Not sure if a 72mm BBs chain line dictates the width anyway. I'll have a look at them all.
