15.2" BB getting too high for FR/DH?

I have a 2006 norco atomik im thinking of changing my fork (2006 180 mm super-t) with a boxxer.

I calculated the new bb height by putting a shim under the front tire, so my question is, will i noticed the new 15.2" bb height? (14.8 actual) ride mostly eastern type terrain.

Putting a piece of wood under the front tire isn't going to give you an accurate estmate of BB height. Just ride it. If it feels good and you don't slacken the head angle too much (beyond the spec'd limits of your frame), then you're good.

If the boxxer you are putting on is set up at 8' of travel, then you wont feel a difference really because once your on the bike, the suspension will just sag.

Download the linkage 2.5 demo - there is an option to change the fork height and you will get the final geo thanks to that.

As said earlier, the sag will compensate. Really don't think it's that much to worry about, and besides, boxxer's are far more plush in my opinion.
