Hi,

In the boxxer service guide it says to spray isopropyl alcohol onto spring and spring
isolators and apply fresh grease (oil soluble) to spring and spring isolators.

I have no idea what an oil soluble grease is, what do I use?

Also with top cap removal, is it necessary to have a socket that's flat on the bottom?

Mine grips the top cap alright, but I'm worried about rounding it out if the socket isn't on there properly.

Cheers.

oil soluble grease is grease that can be broken down by oil. Any suspension fork specific grease should do the job.

Best to make sure the socket is fitting securely so as not to mess up ur top caps
