How many of you own a 29er, AND have taken it to Davis (and or surroundings) for a test-drive?

Do you find that your bike excels in such "harsh" conditions?
I would love to hear your feedback.

It's been a little over a week, and my first 29er ever has put a huge smile on my face. I am really liking it. There were many odds against me, noticeably the fact that I am very short to be riding on 700c - off road.

Overall, I am more pleased than I could have imagined.

I simply cannot think of a single reason the bigger wheels wouldn't excel there. I tend to think the bike's geometry would be the biggest consideration.
