Anyone using the highs? I have some low-tops and pick-up alot of dirt in them....was just wondering how the high-tops were?

i'm wearing the high tops right now. I got them for the additional ankle support over the low-tops. The seem to pick up dirt too, but not as much as my vans used to. Great shoes

I got the high tops, mostly because it protects that little bone that sticks out a little on the side of your ankles. I like the hightop for extra support.

I think its just the fit as I never have anything go into my lowtop 5 10s

Just a comment. Where are the mid tops ?

I run Intense shoes and can't imagine that mid-top isn't an option w/ these shoes. They are perfect why did they change the design in the first place ? Good protection and easy to pedal.

I rolled my ankle recently which caused me to brake my leg. Would the high-tops help a lot in ankle support or should I just wear an ankle brace?

The highs are no substitute for an ankle brace. I bought highs because I pretty much only ride flats when I'm pushing up, and to put it mildly, I suck at walking and fall down alot.

the high tops would help with ankle support if you laced them up to be nice and firm, and then your shoe would act like a real cheap ankle brace pretty much. however if you have ankle problems, you should definately not substitute the high tops for a real ankle brace. yea
