So, after chatting w/ some of my co-workers, I realized that even after 4hrs in the saddle, I shouldn't be going numb. I guess for about the past month, I've been demo-ing various saddle...SMPs, Toupes of various widths, Aliantes, Antares, Selle -----s...no dice. Never bothered trying the Arione because 4yrs ago, that was the worst saddle I had sat on.

Well...something has changed. I took our demo out, and damn! Badass! Granted, it was the CX which has a slightly different nose. Regardless, this saddle impressed the hell out of me. As such, I snatched up our only black one (also re-wrapped the bars to get the full black effect).

I've never been so impressed with a saddle.

PS - My bike matches my g/f's car...
PPS - Hudz hoods are badass...
PPSS - the 404s are the bees knees...

Nice looking bike! I've been running an Arione for a while and have been pretty happy with it; I like it quite a bit better than the Fizik Pave that was on there before. I am a pretty big fan of Fizik. My 3 MTBs all have Nisene saddles as well.

It's funny how personal saddles are. I would not ride an Arione if my life depended on it pretty much. I went through a whole bunch of different saddles, WTB Devo/Deva, SLR (which I didn't mind actually), until I lucked into a Prologo Scratch. That saddle is now on all of my bikes, best ever for my rear end. Working on a custom-colored one right now... :)

You sporting an AR2 yet?

I've got 100% on everything at the Felt Workshop...where's my F1 frame?

What's interesting to me is that 3yrs, I swore I would never, ever use an Arione. Damn thing hurt like hell.

No, not yet, for some reason I'm being good about not spending a ton of money on bikes. So far anyway. I almost dropped the coin on an F1SL, but I didn't, I figure for the speeds I'll be going, the F bike is a better choice than the AR. I'll probably pick up an AR next year though. So far I still just have my F95 alloy frame.
Now you've got me thinking though, maybe an FC frame. I have some Dura Ace and Red groups to choose from, they really should be on a bike, not in the garage in a box...

I think the difference is that you're on the CX, I'd almost be willing to try it out again, but then again I'm happy with my Scratch, so I won't.
