ah ha, you must own a durango.

worst milage of any vehicle I have ever owned and the thing fell apart in the wind. I would have a trail of parts from my house to the auto parts store.

and it chattered like sleigh on a gravel roads

my F350's have been the longest lasting vehicles I have ever owned. more than 400k a piece

nope i just would never drive a ford becuase they suck.... if i owned something that wasnt a car (cars would always be in the volkswagen family) it will be a dodge ram 2500 with a cummins...... cummins great engines.... dodge ehhh could be better yet still beat other american cars.

1984 Accord lx auto: sweet stereo, ran like a top, ugly as sin and smelled funny

1989 CRX dx: bought it wrecked for $500, spent more than it was worth on parts to put it back together but it was never right. lowered, spiffy wheels, nifty SiR wing, tint. Crashed it twice and sold it for $700 with 220k. I still see it around once in a while

1990 CRX Si: Bought it for 2k with a bad transmission. Swapped in a hybrid gear box and heavy clutch, added some nifty suspension bits. Drove the crap out of it for a few years and sold it for $2500 with 200k on the clock. I miss the hell out of this one, it was an awesome car.

2000 Miata Ls: stock with a roll bar. Bought it from my dad for pretty cheap to do track days then got married and never had time. Drove it for about 1.5 years until the divorce forced me to sell it.

1990 Miata: Picked it up for $700, replaced the motor for ~$150 and added a hard top for another $650. It's a fun little car, but its beat to hell and rattles like a bitch. I don't know how much longer I'll have it.

1993 4x4 Toyota pickup: Dad gave it to me when he got a new truck. It's pretty clean, but there's about 215k on it and she don't run all that great. I really like the truck, but I *hate* working on it. We'll see how long I can limp it along.

That right there is the only thing you should be concerned with.

Pics?
The one thats put together is covered with a tarp in the back, the other is split in half (cab and bed) in the garage (we have a 4 car garage). It was a project truck my dad bought before he had kids, and never got a chance to work on it (I say it because the plan was to combine the good parts with the 2 identical trucks). Of course, every year when I go to the big auto swap meet with my dad in Portland, OR he looks for parts for the truck, and at this point he has collected all sorts of NOS stuff, just needs time.

This is the only photo I currently have of it.

Give him a gentle nudge in going this direction with it
Believe me I tried...I wanted to have that truck for my self, he refuses to let me work on it...but he doesnt have any time (to busy fixing our other cars...which we drive all of them but the Cougar and MG).
