I wear a under shirt with every protective jacket I have had. Tender nipplesWearing an under shirt would make it not rub in the pits but would be pretty hot in the summer. It fit fine in the shoulders, arm and waist. It is lower profile than hard shell suits. I would have kept it if not fot the seams in the pits.
Any chance of a picture, I need to cut mine as wellI cut some of the VPD pads to accommodate a Leatt brace- it would have been nice if they would have made it easier.
I put a zipper in mine, at the tailor down the street from my house, she charged me 12 bucks. I hope to get that in production at some point...despite some testers that didnt like the zipper (I like the zip)...but im old school.that TLD 7855 shirt doesn't have a zipper, as i recall. ? shoulder injuries make it hard for me to imagine getting that thing on/off.

based on the only pic on the TLD site, it's not clear where that zipper would be installed. do you have a pic of yours? based on what i see on the site, there are no tightening straps on the forearm area..therefore I'm guessing the forearm area is designed to be snug & stretchy, in which case getting it off when i've been sweating all day would be a PIA probably if there was no zipper.I put a zipper in mine, at the tailor down the street from my house, she charged me 12 bucks. I have a few days on the 7855 now. Wow, feels great, no restriction. I took the pads out for the Leatt. Works great without modifying the jersey.Just got my TLD 7855. Very nice. The pull over is actually easier to get off than other mfg's front zip jackets. I like the Leatt compatibility. Update coming after Massanutten.
