Wife and I returned yesterday from our vacation to Pacific Grove/Monterey, and there are some adventures that pictures won't do it justice.
Stayed at Olympia Lodge, just up Lighthouse Rd. from the Point Lobos Lighthouse and Asilomar Beach. Had a gorgeous view from our balcony. Both mornings were greeted by some fat seagulls waiting for treats. Dined at Holly's Lighthouse, Pizza My Heart, Peppers, Fish Hopper, and 2 small local deli's. Road from room to aquarium along Ocean Shore Drive. Saw a baby seal being born and trying to nurse (lots of blood). Walked out on dinner at Beach House. Sunsets. Shopping. Saw a remaining monarch butterfly at the sanctuary. And........
Returned with a rescue dog from Peace of Mind Dog Rescue. A 9yo Japanese Chin named Penny.
This big doofus is already in love with the 6 lbs of grey muzzle she is.......
