Copied from Pisgah Area SORBA:

I am sending this e-mail out through all my available forums. If
you receive multiple copies, I apologize.

WE ARE REACHING A CRUCIAL TIME FOR THE POTENTIAL DEVELOPMENT OF
TRAILS AT RICHMOND HILL PARK. IF YOU ARE A CITY RESIDENT AND WANT
TO SEE THE DEVELOPMENT OF A TRAIL SYSTEM, PLEASE TAKE A FEW MINUTES
TO TAKE THE ACTION REQUESTED IN THIS E-MAIL. City residency is
important because your vote is what will make council listen/act.
Non-city residents should feel free to comment as well, but please
edit your message accordingly.

Please send an e-mail (ADDRESSES AT BOTTOM) to council, the mayor,
and parks and rec staff saying approximately the following:

As a city resident and recreational trail user, I would like to
express my support for the development of a recreational trail
system at Richmond Hill Park. I understand that the development of
this park is moving forward and feel it is time for a trail system
to be given high priority. Please take my concerns as a citizen of
Asheville into consideration as you plan the next steps in the
development of this wonderful urban park.

Sincerely,
{insert your name and address. If you are a SORBA member, please
mention as such. If you aren't, why not}

DO NOT CUT AND PASTE THIS E-MAIL. It needs to look individualized.
If you want to make additional points about MTB use, history of
trails in the park, benefits to the economy and well-being of city
residents, etc., feel free to do so, but keep it brief. If you want
to sound a little more forceful, that would also be OK- but KEEP IT
POLITE!! E-MAILS AS FOLLOWS:
