If you want the quiet smooth feel of Euro brakes go with Audi stuff but it does wear out quickly. Hunting down some Zimmerman or possibly even Brembo(pretty cheap in Aus) should save you some coin but cheaper rotors than them seem to warp more often.
Pads are up to you, people carry on like idiots about them, they stop you from dying so don't cheap out.
I knew a friend had done his brakes but he had to do a hub at the same time as the bearings were shot, pretty sure that's where the big Torx bit came in.
Not sure if you've done this sort of thing before but just make sure you remove some fluid before compressing the caliper pistons, don't want the paint coming off the firewall.
you might want to get some dielectric grease to put on the piston as it hits the caliper so it doesn't get stuck on it. thats something my mechanic does

If it's anything like my E30 BMW, it was cheaper to go with Brembo rotors (forget what pads I ran) than it was for OE. But I've always been happy with Brembo products (cars/trucks/motorcycles/dirtbikes).
