Hi guys noob question when removing a BB is the thread normal on both sides or is one thread reversed?

Drive side is reversed.

It's a Truvativ Gigapipe if that helps.

Turn both sides in the direction the cranks go to move the bike. Pedals go the other way.

Use a rear QR skewer and some washers through the bb and removal tool to keep the tool from slipping. Remove the skewer after the bb breaks free.

Make sure you hawk a good lugi back in there before you put your bottom bracket back it. Gives your bike character.

Hehehe...especially if you spit teflon tape.

Silicone tub and tile sealer works good too.
