Part of that success is our responsibility. We need to go there and spend our money on lift tickets or season passes. If beech is gonna open and be a success then they are gonna need more trails.
A resort with lifts and great trails under 2 hours from me, I'll get a season pass every year . I could only imagine living closer to Snowshoe!Part of that success is our responsibility. We need to go there and spend our money on lift tickets or season passes.
If they offer season passes for MTB I'll be buying.Part of that success is our responsibility. We need to go there and spend our money on lift tickets or season passes.
Get Talia to let you take your bike up the lift one time near season's end. Orville let me & Cecil do it one year at Wolf and it is the fastest I've ever gone on a bike in my life bar none.Hey Everyone,
So here's the news....March 10th will be the first race of the season at Beech. This will be a slalom only race. The race will go on during the session break of skiing in the evening. The course will be prepped, time to practice early in the day, then qualifying, then race time with hopefully a lot of skiers headed up to watch the show. I know someone will ask and the answer is.... this is not a snow race. This will be on the same track National Champs was held on. I was up scouting the mountain a few weeks ago and the track is in surprisingly good shape. Looks like there will be a discount to all racers who want to go hit up the slopes as well.
Beech Mountain is really committed to bringing lift assisted cycling to the Southeast. Hope everyone comes out to show your support.
See you there.

On bikereg.com, it said that practice starts at 1, and qualifying starts at 3:45.I've searched and can't find a time schedule for 3-10? Anybody know, seen one, Chris can you advise?

Oh, thanks, I had not seen the flyer. I figured it would be but wanted to make sure. I would love to go down to Beech for the race on Saturday then ride Windrock on Sunday on the way home. For the DS only, yes it will be a qualifier..... says so on the flyer.
