Hate to sell it, always said I'd never sell it, but all I do is look at it, so wtf? I ride my Hollowpoint all the time. This is a fun bike, I actually lied, I did take it to nam once, but had the hookworms on it and they suck in the woods. But I was surprised that I could pedal the thing so well in the woods, especially at nam which is all rocks and all uphill.

I've got back into music, there is and acoustic guitar I want, so getting rid of anything I don't use.

Believe me, the pain and agony of many months of waiting for this. I soon forgot. All the dreaming, day in, day out. But, like I say, it's not really the bike for me. I bought it for street, which it's awesome for, but nobody I know rides street and it sucks riding alone.

Cry me a ******g river ha? LOL

Anybody know how much it costs to ship a bike. I also have a guy overseas that is interested in the bike, but I would be shipping it to the usa. What is a safe way to do a transaction like this without either one of us getting screwed? He's asking me for swiftcode, IBAN number, and I have no idea what any of this stuff is.

Anybody knows anything about this stuff, give a shout. Thanks

paypal. its the only way i do things anymore.

though i did sell a karpiel army to a kid in croatia.. with western union money orders. felt sketchy as all hell. but he was on here posting for a bit, so i got to know him more so.

you have the product, get the money in your pocket first, then ship. i am so NOT down with bank transfer stuff though, where they have your check transfer info and such.

I wouldn't ship overseas. Too much of a hassle. And if you do make sure payment is in paypal. Shipping a complete bike in the continental US with USPS is about 75 bucks.

If he's asking for ur IBAN, that means he wants to do a direct transfer. What sucks about that, is that you'll most likely also have to give him your bank account number along with the IBAN, which is sketchy as hell.
This is where paypal is great. it acts as the middle man so all of that is hidden....

Problem with Paypal is, aswell as taking your money on transfers, they can get arsey when sending lots of money. If they do the process you've got to go through to sort it is absolutely rediculous. Especially with being a web based company, you can't just go into a branch and talk to a person. Which is why i like my Bank.

If this guy overseas interested in buying your bike is Micce, all of us who have met him can vouch he is the most standup guy you'll ever meet.

I concur with Ady's vouch for Micce. Straight-up a top shelf good dude. Known of him for years through Brooklyn, met him last summer and we've been friends since.

However, I totally understand the concern for the bank info et al, especially not having ever met the guy yourself. Perhaps there's someway y'all could do money order instead?

The iban guy is not micce, it's me (registered in family uk as T). Was wondering what was sketchy about knowing a bank account number? And I'm not really feeling credit cards so don't have any. Would loose it or get it stolen too easily.

Hey T, I'd be skeptical of handing out my bank acct # to someone I don't know because it increases the ease with which they could do damage to my account and overall credit. Least that's my take on it. Where do you live T?

I live in Brussels but grew up in the southern part, thus french speaking although i understand dutch but don't ask me to speak you'd be horrified! Brussels is nice, pretty laid back for a "big" city.

General BMW question:

Are any of you racelink owners tall? If so, how tall are you and how does your bike fit? Complaints?

Also, what are the chances of BMW releasing something along the lines of the RL that would be more comfortable for tall dudes down the line?

I'm 6'4" and I have had a moderate obsession with the BMW beauty for a little while and would like to get my hands on one at some point. I don't imagine within the next year or so though, so I'm in no rush.

According to Down Cycles people taller than 5,12 will have issues. Any idea what he is refering to ??
depends how you prefer your bike fit. my tmx (has the same 22.5" tt) was borderline on the short side for my taste - i prefer a slightly longer tt with a shorter stem (i was running a 70mm stem; i'm 6'-1"). personal preference.
