Call All Mountain Cycerly, they are the ones that run the BC shuttle. I would definately call before you go out there and make sure it is running. http://www.allmountaincyclery.com/shuttles.html
I've been up that road in a camry and a mazda 3. Aside from the occasional pothole, it's pretty driveable.
The shuttle does have it's advantages. You'll be able to knock out more runs because you don't have to keep playing shell games with your cars. You can veg and chill while someone does the driving. You can hit the last shuttle run at the end of the day and get out of there before sunset. The shuttle road is kinda gnarly at night.
Just shuttle it, hanging in the back with other riders and chillin with only the thought of which run this time and bouncin around is priceless!
Shuttle it
You guys are pvssies. Just pedal up the fire road or better yet, pedal up the singletrack. Makes for a fun game of chicken with the riders blazing down.
