Franken, Germany
7.5 wt synthetic fork oil
I use BOS, Motorex or SRAM oil
there is no difference between SRAM 7 wt and BOS 7.5 wt

for my wife I put 5.0 wt in her Fox 40 + BOS cartridge
because she was not able to use the travel of her fork even with the lightest spring

Is there anything to look out for when removing the lowers off an Idylle fork?

Not much information on the internet about servicing BOS forks...

here's the owner's manual.

i'm not sure, why you would want to remove the lowers though... both the cartridge and the spring are accessible from the top.

I recently talked the head engineer at BOS and that's the info he gave me regarding oil in Idylle forks :

==> Choose some good oil (he advises Kayaba K01) between 5 and 10wt.
==> If you use an oil that's more liquid than the original BOS one (it's the case with the Kayaba), he suggests closing all adjustments a bit to compensate (one or two clicks).
