I know it might be a bit late, but wanted to let those who lurk here know that there is a small group of Phoenicians hitting up Brian Head this coming weekend (July 18-19th). Some are heading up early Fri. morning, others late Friday after work.

We will be camping right up the street in the free BLM camping area.

Thought I'd post in case some of you folks who are missing Sunrise are looking for motiviation to get in some lift-accessable DH runs.

All day lift is $24. Lift runs from 9:30-4:30. If there are 10 or more than there is a 25% discount if purchased at the same time making it $18. We already have 7 going.

We will probably hit up Dark Hollow and other shuttle-able trails as well.

Southwest UT. 6-6.5 hours drive from North Phoenix driving through Page and Kanab.

Had a great time this weekend. Several new trails since I was last there in 2006. They have also built a few new wooden features, incl. a teeter-totter, a 6 ft. drop. Dark Hollow (shuttle trail) was awesome Sat. evening after some light rain showers.

$99 for a season-pass. Pays for itself if you ride the lift for 4 days.

Ride-on! I will be sure to post here again on the next time we get a group of people to go. The next time might not be until the weekend of Aug 16-17. There is a UT State Race there put on the guys from Go-Ride. You can go to their website for some info on the race.
