Why is this area blank? I think a constantly changing bike or component might catch someone's eye even if they're not looking.

It is blank because it was replaced with the classifieds system. The link int he general forums was added wheni pointed out that traffic to the classifieds was WAY down as people couldn't find it where they expected it to be.
