i have a guy wanting to buy my 03 jr t. the steer tube measures 7 inches and his frame is a small. i dont know which model it is but from the pics ive seen all the frames look the same. cant find any specs anywhere tho.

whats the steer tube length for sgs frames?

EDIT: Crap. Do you have the bolt-on stem? With that you'll be all set. Wish I had thought of that first!

I know that the stackheight with drop crown and Double Xc (reducer 1.5) headset is 165mm. Thats ~6.3". I would say that 7" of steerer could be a little short, but the e13 reducers cups (just installed a set) drop the stack height by almost 1".
BUT, the Jr. T might just fit b/c its top crown is much thinner than the Boxxer top crown that came stock on the SGS that I meassured. I *think* that the Jr. T will fit, but its gonna be close. There is also the fact that the top of the steerer sits below the top of the stem. That'll get you some more space.
What kind of headset is in the pic? It looks lower profile than the Double Xc.
Also remember that you'll need the flat crown w/ the e13 reducers.
