250 miles on flat ground then sit for 30-45 minutes to recharge, No Thanks

with my truck camper and horse trailer I'm driving from Livermore Ca to Lexingtion Ky in 4 days starting on the 31st. That's 2400 miles and 11 to 11.5 hours of driving each day with 3 10 minute fill ups per day

No, you need to move to upstate NY.
I know the 1980s mindset of teh salts still applies but they do that here too. Probably where you live too.

I'll take a pic of the underside of my truck tomorrow for you.

I guess the only difference is that I know this and paint my frames.

or is this like an east coast roxx thing where hardassnewyawkerz™ just have never been anywhere else?

I dunno, they use Mag. Chloride here (I think due to the fishies in the rivers, I really don’t know).
But what I DO know is that anywhere and everywhere in Upstate, 1 out of 8 (made up stat alert!!!) cars have significant rust damage to the point of being a little embarrassing, or a great source of pride.
Possibly both.
