let it oxidise, the layer of oxside on the surface will act as a protective layer. but dont go cleaning it off, then you will be taking materail off, not thats its much but eventually.... if you want it to be shiny then put a clear coat on it.
Guys, aluminum will not weaken if allowed to oxidise. The oxide layer is chemically bound to the metal itself, and isn't going anywhere. This is why cmponents must be chemicaly stripped (in an acid bath) before anodising. If left in raw form, a thin oxide layer will form over the surface, and simply stay there, preventing further oxidation/weakening. Leave it raw. It'll be fine.
