ABC affilates owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group are not going to show the Nightline tonight in which Ted reads the name of the US service personnel killed in Combat related incidents in Iraq. They are saying that there is a political motive to the broadcast in which it is a means to undermine the US effort in Iraq.

Nightline claims that it is simply offering a rememberance of the dead as they did with the 9-11 tribute they did on its anniversary.

One interesting note, the top four Sinclair executives have given the maximum amount of donation to the Bush/Cheney reelection. None to Kerry/????.

Seems like a pretty silly knee jerk reaction to me. Saying the samething exists on hundreds of war memorials around the country.
