I am ganna build up a bike for racing 4cross and dual slolom mainly, but the bike will get dirt jumped and ridden around town as well as the ocasional shuttle runs. Based on geometry what bike should I get.

On a urban/dj bike? Why?
I know you said frame only, but that doesnt make any since to me. Looks like a killer build, but come on now...that things just asking to be ripped off.

I'd go for the Absolut 4X if you're racing first and DJing second. Geo on it is much more race friendly...plus it looks PEEMP.

Get the chase! and get them with the 16.75 Chainstays.. they are better for racing.. the 15.75 are a wee bit to short..

I've had both and still miss the 16.75 CS..

Get a commencal, I garentee you that you will be satisfied. And if you have problems, Clark will take care of you. Commencals customer service is nearly unbeatable. For example, I needed a derailuer hanger in under 36 hours. On his way to Monterey from Sac-town Clark dropped off the Derailuer hanger at my Mechanics house, and i quote Clark "Thanks for taking care of this customer". Now, what company do you know that will do something like that. not to many out there.

Anyways, the commencal is a WAY WAY better Race frame, and is a damn good DJ frame. however it does have a medium amount of flex. I;d say thats the only con to the Commencal.
