Over there somewhere.
Spent my day exploring this place and am definitely going to be going back. Have alot of pictures to post, so won't have them all up tonight.

Finding the trail head was a bit tricky, I only ever came from the round valley side of the mountain. But once found it was on. Trails are not clearly marked, so if it's someone's first time there, they better have someone who knows the place.

The climbing begins.

This is just a small blemish to what is ahead.

Continuing on.

Am roasting from the temperature at this point. The rocks are getting more plentiful.

Did I mention the place si getting more rocky?

This rock garden was a bit of a pain to navigate.

Through it finally and back on soil.

The first of quite a few log crossings.

Straight on with a very slight incline.

Continuing on.

Log crossing number 3 or 4.

A break in the climbing for now.

Another log crossing.

A different log crossing.

Going up

Level two, electronics and lawncare.

More rocks

Final log crossing.

It also had a line around it, the log crossing was more fun though.

Over there somewhere.

More climbing, rocky terrain is getting more consistent.

Rocks are good.

Final part of the climb.
The rewards for this effort:

And the only way back is to go down it.

That's all I got.

A lot of XC racers practice this hill. I love the DH part,..since it's an out and back. One year I did this, I hit a rock on the DH and nailed myself in the chest (boob). I must have laid there for 10 minutes. I thought to myself,...I gotta get up, no one is going to find me here. I have never forgotten the place since.
