In the early stages of a custom frame...

How on earth does one decide on paint scheme? I've got a million ideas in my head; from basic to intricate, black to white, Beats to birds. And rather than narrowing it down, the list grows.

I'm doing it wrong.

DA BEARS.
what are you getting?

I recently had to decide what color to get my ewr and went black. I did have them add some purple to the clear coat so it should end up awesome.

I have no idea where I am
If it's a downhill bike, who cares, you're just going to scratch it up anyway.

If it's a trail bike it will be covered in mud, so again color doesn't matter.

If it's a road bike, it should match your uni-tard, skin suit outfit and disposable lady bic razors.

and if its a street/park bike then you should be very vain and make sure you turn some heads

Clear powder over raw. Even better is nickel metal flake clear over raw. You only see the metal flake in the sunlight. Otherwise, it just looks raw.

+1!!

but Candy apple red, or green would be nice.

is it going to be steel, alu, ti or carbon. going raw would only work for most, not steel unless it's stainless.

i had a thought about doing one plated in copper like the guys from OCC did a few years back.
