Yeah, he beat it before last season premiered if my memory serves me correctly.
no, he announced this January (after the season ended,) that he was going through chemo for his Hodgkin's and according to the internets he went into complete remission in April

Is it only me or was the directors idea of grief strange? Everybody was suprised dexter was shocked and expected dexter to cry to every person he sees. They seemed more crazy this episode than he did.

As for the last season - better than the 3rd but still the show is not really inventive anymore. It just went slightly above average when they think out new twists and turns to push the plot forward. Nothing really fresh and new in terms of ideas.

I've only just 'discovered' Dexter. I'm on episode 3 of season 1.
Don't read the first 2 pages of this or they will totally screw the shock value of the epic ending to season 4.

Oh, and I don't watch Dexter for the "plot", I watch it for the maniacal sub-plot that is the serial killer's mind. Virtually every creepy thought he has is the reason to watch.

And guys, I'm at the office so video content is blocked. Is the first episode available free online on that crackle site that Hulu bounces you to? I watched all 4 seasons online and am still free of the reigns of cable TV. If it's good to go on the net, I'm ecstatic.

Oh, and speaking of new seasons:
"No thanks. Fear of being cut in half...and there's pee on the floor."
"Of course"

Gotta say, wasn't impressed with the premier at all. Hopefully the next couple of episodes improve.

Boardwalk Empire for me, thanks!

I consider it a necessary step to build on the season. The writers said "Let's hash it all out now!" Then, get him back to the butcher shop ASAP. :thumb:

The use of the ez-lock anchor...nice!

Thanks.

I'll pass on the real deal. I enjoy my candy coated, sarcasm wet Hollywood serial killer Dex.

Oh, and if you've seen his performance in Gamer, you realize...he's a damn good actor.

Anybody besides me now on the edge of their seat? Harry popping back up was icing on the cake. Loving this season. Even converted a nerdy, introverted co-worker who hates changes in his viewing regimen.

Think the blood is from Chase's previous secretary?

The last episode was intense! Every time you think you know where the show is going to go, it takes a hard left and leaves you standing in the street wondering where that left-hand turn came from.

I hate to tear my favorite show apart, but I hate the resolution to killing Chase's right hand man. The shattered door leading to a hotel room paid for and occupied by Dexter is too much to ignore.

I'm forgiving it at this point...but little stuff gets me.
How did he fix the shattered door?

i was thinking the same thing.....but did he actually say that he rented the room in his name?
