Three weeks going up for my weekly trip to Packer Lake, and want to do the Downieville downhill trail. Anyone recommend a good shuttle service place? And any places to rent a better downhill-ing bike. My 4" of raw XC power isn't enough to suffice my appetite.

and Yuba Expeditions 530-289-3010

Both provide shuttles and rent very nice bikes.
BTW, 4" is generally plenty for D-Ville.
Unless your bike is set up all XC funky with super light wheels and a long stem.
Then you should rent.
