Massachusetts, USA September 25th, 2006 e.thirteen components will not have a booth at this years Interbike trade show. We have spent countless hours conducting research and undergoing substantial internal discussions to determine whether or not we should have a booth at Interbike. In the end, we decided that there are more direct ways for our company to get the message out about who we are and why the products we build are worth buying. As part of this, our entire 2007 line can be seen at our virtual tradeshow booth on MTBR.com.
Top reasons why e.thirteen is psyched not to have a booth at the show
1) No matter what shoes you wear, you always, always get shocked whenever you touch anything.
2) Greatly reduced chances of being maimed in a high speed forklift accident.
3) Do not have to worry about the tax on the fee on the surcharge on the expense of paying for a booth, or the dreaded electrical hookup fee.
4) We will actually be able to ride and demonstrate our products at the On Dirt Demo.
5) We will not have vacuum the carpet that we rented every morning.
6) We have $26K extra to spend on supporting racing series, new bike parks, and trail advocacy that we otherwise would have spent on a booth.
7) Give us more time to take spy photos of the Autobike, a design we have been intrigued by for years.
8) We do not have to drive a bread truck 60 hours straight to transport our booth.
9) We get to drink other peoples beer. (Sorry Brian Peterson and Eric Wold)
10) We can sleep in and only have to arrive by our first appointment.
11) We can leave whenever we want.
12) We do not have to stay up until 3 am to set up or break down the booth.
13) We will have more time to hang out with Hacksaw and all of our other friends at the show.
14) We can eat at In-N-Out Burger whenever we want.
15) We will not have to visit Home Depot at 11 pm.
16) We will have time to visit the World Largest Souvenir Shop.
17) We will be able to have our photo taken with Elvis . Every day ..
Rest assured we are working hard to deliver the best chain retention systems and components in the world. We have something big planned for 2007.
