Yup. As much as I find the paintjob ugly the bike is just what I'm looking for.So which monkeys are coming out for Eurobike? Everyone is still setting up, but i've already spotted my next bike, so i might as well start with that:

Overdrive? So they went with that weird headset?I was horrified of that paintjob, but it actually does look pretty good in person. I can get over the 27,5", but that Giant Overdrive BS still makes me want to punch someone.
Yep, says so under the fork specs...Overdrive? So they went with that weird headset?
I've seen that bike in the beginning of the year. That gold/brown/rootbeer paint doesn't look good in tungsten light, but quite a lot of ppl say it look quite good in natural light. So which monkeys are coming out for Eurobike? overdrive 2 is different then the normal Overdrive which is just a normal tapered HTYep, says so under the fork specs...

Never said they were the same. Overdrive 2 is the "weird headset" as norbar said since it is currently the industry non-standard 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" taper. I don't think anyone would be complaining if they saw the more standard 1-1/8" to 1-1/2" taper (original Giant Overdrive).overdrive 2 is different then the normal Overdrive which is just a normal tapered HT
There you goDear Europe, plz send pictures of new tyres / neu reifen / nouveau pneus.
next new standard... overdrive 3... 1.5" lower 1 3/8" upper to further reduce flex. will be followed up with overdrive 4, 1.5" lower 1 7/16". exponential decay.Never said they were the same. Obviously Giant is trying to bring a new standard to market with Overdrive 2, but the process is a bit painful for most who want to change forks. Pretty hard to sell a Giant specific fork on the used market.
Along with the new 27.95 wheels specifically designed because it gives a theoretical .2% increase in awesome over 27.5.next new standard... overdrive 3... 1.5" lower 1 3/8" upper to further reduce flex. will be followed up with overdrive 4, 1.5" lower 1 7/16". exponential decay.
This. And with tons of colorways to choose from:Anyone see the new giro helmet on pb? Looks mint
Engineers from Russia were pretty rad especially during cold war ;>engineers ... outsourced to Russia Ugggg.
Bell Full 9 look better, IMOThis. And with tons of colorways to choose from:

Especially this version
Actually worked with one for 4 years, who was an engineer there during the 80s.... Awesome guy.Engineers from Russia were pretty rad especially during cold war ;>
since most bikes are now tapered or full 1.5", it wouldnt be an issueSelling the fork shouldn't be hard as it fits any frame with a tapered or 1.5 headtube, it just needs a special top headset and stem, which you'd likely sell with the fork.
sexy time!Even bettar imo:
key word there. personally i don't see why anyone would buy anything where the word 'special' is used to describe how you would get it to work with the most common spec'd frames or parts.Personally, I think Overdrive2 is great. It fits that same middle-of-the-road niche that 650b is in.
If full 1.5 is very stiff, but too heavy, and normal tapered is somewhat more flexible, this fits in between. Selling the fork shouldn't be hard as it fits any frame with a tapered or 1.5 headtube, it just needs a special top headset and stem, which you'd likely sell with the fork.
Yes it may not succeed, especially without any aftermarket stems on the market, but it doesn't mean that the idea is without merit. I'd run it.
I like the way POC helmets look I have owned 2.At least they don't look like a POC.
I have the rebadge Kabuto IXA aka Nema Player. Its not bad. My XL D3 head fits pretty good in a M/L Kabuto. The D3 defo feels more solid, better built. I dunno if its OGK taking off as much weight as they can just to meet safety standards and make their ff's one of the lightest. Its a good 300g plus lighter iirc vs. a carbon D3.The kabuto and bell look like a cheap 90's lid people bought for scrap
Never understood the need for the lightest FF. As long as it's not stupid heavy I'm fine with more weight. What I want is proper ventilation and protection. I use my head as an emergency brake way too often to test the lightest helmets.I have the rebadge Kabuto IXA aka Nema Player. Its not bad. My XL D3 head fits pretty good in a M/L Kabuto. im pretty sure the fork is just a regular tapered steerer, or a standard 1-1/8 steerer. i highly doubt that giant could get RS, Fox, or Marz to make some forks with silly steerer tubes.Pretty hard to sell a Giant specific fork on the used market.
i think its a cool idea too.. cept for the fact that no one else is using it, which im sure really makes it hard on em..Personally, I think Overdrive2 is great. It fits that same middle-of-the-road niche that 650b is in.

Are there any eye friendly colors on the new Five Ten Impact VXi's, or better yet, will there be a high top version of said shoe?I'll be at the show tomorrow through Friday. Post up if there's anything you want specific pics of.
Guess why?! ;> Coz it's a direct order company?Forget the lids the new 650B canyon looks mint. If it's priced like their other AL models it's the bike I will buy next season. Better compo than the giant, probably similar price.
