If I had the room I would love a retro Cannondale mtb or road bike. They made some really nice frames in the 90s
I've always wanted to make a bastard bike out of a super V with the seatmast cut off, a lefty fork, and some kind of carbon wheelset. I imagine that would be pretty visually striking

A friend of mine still rides exactly the same ProFlex. He was complaining recently about not being able to find spare parts for it.

you can still get dampers from risse for the fork and frame...other parts probably have to be sourced, but there's an odd collection of proflex fans (even a forum) out there if you search for it. They may have sources of bushings and such. I viewed methods of attaching disk brakes to the fork and frame on that site...
