No more DH this year so finally time for some road action again. Damn it was nice to be out today and beautiful day. Even warmer tomorrow
Posted several times before but here it is againthis thread is useless without pics!
(lets see the road bike CBJ)
Correct I think this picture is from one I just got the bike. Also put a new bar on and lowered the bar.Is it the angle of the pic or is that alot of seatpost showing?

So what you're saying is that you need to take some new pictures?Correct I think this picture is from one I just got the bike. Also put a new bar on and lowered the bar.
You are so right my friendSo what you're saying is that you need to take some new pictures?
That's how I read it.
Wait a minute, the URL for the bike pic is "nyspermdonor.com?"You are so right my friend

It now has Easton bar with a proper width plus a drop and reach the fits me better. This winter I will send in the 240 hubs as DT Swiss will warranty as there are problems with the paint flaking off. I would love to put some fancier spokes on and I was recommended straight pull on the front?
Really need new shoes and road pedals.
I still want to try to drop the bar even lower but did not feel like it this weekend after a long pause.
GravityFreakTJ can you approve the seat height now?
Yes, its the SLX and I really like it too especially riding in the bend.Wait a minute, the URL for the bike pic is "nyspermdonor.com?"
Hmm...
Easton bar - EC90SLX? I love that bar, perfect bend for me, I have one on my AR. Don't forget to cut the steerer tube down when you have the height dialed...
I wish Specialized had color-matched their post to the bike, it'd look good with a little red on it.
I could be wrong, or it could be a while ago, but didn't DT say no radial spoking (which is what I'm assuming you're asking) on their front hubs?
I say keep those as 3x lacing, and get some chi-chi carbon wheels if you want something racier.
What size shoe are you?
Will it also give negative wind resistance?Seat height is fine CBJ... Now let's get a -17* stem on there stat!!
Nice for sure, not like the color kills it, I'm just hyper-OCD when it comes to my bike stuff, for example I've had a new frameset waiting for about 3.5 months for the "right" bar/stem/post combo. Terrible. I'm trying to be better, but it's difficult.Yes, its the SLX and I really like it too especially riding in the bend.
I can only agree the color is not too good on that seat post. I have seen some with red on the bike but this is a brand new 2009 post the seller included in the sale plus a Dura Ace post so I can't complain.
No ideal on what DT recommends but I will look into this during the winter. Unless I run into some money I would rather spend them on shoes, pedal and a new helmet.
That url is related to my previous job but I unfortunately had to leave the business this year.
Size 9½ shoes.
Laughing all the way to the sperm bank as I used to say. I really miss all the good jokes from that job.Nice for sure, not like the color kills it, I'm just hyper-OCD when it comes to my bike stuff, for example I've had a new frameset waiting for about 3.5 months for the "right" bar/stem/post combo. So 9.5 like what in Euro sizing? 44? I *might* have something for you if you're interested. Pedalz too...
URL still has me laughing.
I think I have 41s and 44s in Sidi.Laughing all the way to the sperm bank as I used to say. I really miss all the good jokes from that job.
9.5 is 43
No need for excuses we all want our bikes to be pretty. Even the most hard core DHer will show up in color coordinate bike and matching gear.
Sidis fit like Italian shoes. No matter what size you wore from Brand X, I always told people to try some on.Unless Sidi run small no go unfortunately
All Italian shoes I have bought fit your description. I should swing by the local Sidi dealer and give some a try.Sidis fit like Italian shoes. No matter what size you wore from Brand X, I always told people to try some on.
No worries, they were probably too Euro trash for you anyway...
Try some on, if you happen to be a 44, urine luck. All Italian shoes I have bought fit your description. I should swing by the local Sidi dealer and give some a try.
Too Euro trash for me is that possible
White is too Euro for some people. Slackers!
I was super-Euro for a while, then I bounced back and went all black, now I'm kind of back a bit, some of both is good.No such thing as to Euro. White bar tape, saddle and shoes for the win!! To bad i can't post a pic of my bike from my phone
haha, you still have the white ones?Sidis fit like Italian shoes. No matter what size you wore from Brand X, I always told people to try some on.

Yeah, I ended up just sticking them in a wardrobe or something, just came across them this weekend while organizing the garage. Along with a couple of boxes of stuff bound for eBay.haha, you still have the white ones?
I forget which model they were, but if they're CF road one maybe we can work something out?
edit: the 44s I mean
I bust my teammates chops for wearing taller black socks. I keep telling him we aren't dressing up for dinner, we're racing our bikes!I will say that I'm a big fan of taller, darker socks, which makes me anti-Euro on that, but the combo with the white shoes is pretty killer, if I do say so myself.
Ok grandpa!I bust my teammates chops for wearing taller black socks. I keep telling him we aren't dressing up for dinner, we're racing our bikes!
Those indeed. Genius 6.6 white/chrome. I think they were the CSC shoes when they came out? I forget though.these right?
