Flat Rock Ranch in Comfort reopens Saturday January 11/03.

The following weekend, Saturday 18, is a Paydirt trail workday. All this in preparation of the Riders on the STORM March 15/16.

Come one come all to check out over 20 miles of the best singletrack in Texas. And come ready to climb, or drop in.

I plan to head out Friday night so that I can get an early start on Saturday. Also, ranch owner, Jimmy Dreiss says that he has a bunch of wood for a HUGE campfire.

MMMmm Warm fire, cold beer.

I put a dent in the pile of firewood, but there still is more. The temps over the weekend dipped into the 20's F. But a nice big fire kept me warm. Well the fire and a bottle of Yukon Jack.

Tony, you missed a good weekend. Nobody campin, just me and the stars. Good for some mental housekeeping, if you know what I mean.


Next trailwork day at Flat Rock Ranch is Saturday February 1st. I will be there camping and burning up as much wood as I can...


oh and the XC course is in good shape for all those interested.

The weather looks like it will cooperate and we are planning to add some miles to the XC and Time Trial courses.
