Floyd Landis admits to using PEDs most of his career - ESPN
and why I lusted after the TWP brake levers.
Exactly what I said (though, my language wasn't as appropriate)What is sad is all the denial and fighting the charges and then admitting it now makes all his other claims suspect.
Wish someone would just man up and tell the fricking truth for once.
yeah, he pretty much screwed himself further by not getting in front of it from the beginning and just admitting the truth. sadly he took the Tyler Hamilton route and wound up driving off the same cliff as Tyler. i just don't get these athletes who get caught in doing steroids, hgh, etc. and not just admit the truth when they get caught. Rodney Harrison admitted it when he got caught, apologized, did his suspension and life went on. i have a little more respect for him doing that than if he went the Floyd route. but i've lost respect for him for doing the hgh. all Landis is doing is pissing off the bee's in the hive because he's a bored little boy with nothing better to do. face it dude, you f'ed up, live with it and move on and stop trying to burn people from your past. you got proof all these people doped, provided it, approved it? if so then where is it? you wanted to come clean with everyone about your case, finally admit what most of us already knew that's all fine and dandy. you want to start throwing others under that bus then you need some proof. just because you finally came clean doesn't mean that all your new allegations are true also. What is sad is all the denial and fighting the charges and then admitting it now makes all his other claims suspect.

Yes, only makes him look even more crazy and untrustworthy. The thing that kills me is that he spent $2 million fighting the doping charge. I would have taken my lumps, even if I didn't use testosterone that year. When he was fighting the charge I hoped that he would get off, but I thought man if that was me I would have kept my money, taken the suspension, and planned my comeback. Like what Vino did
Millar, Vino, even that scumbag Meirhagen all came clean when busted. The thing that kills me is that he spent $2 million fighting the doping charge. What a giant douche.
Vino didn't come clean; his admission that he is racing clean now at LBL was the closest he has come to admitting guilt.Millar, Vino, even that scumbag Meirhagen all came clean when busted.
I have a problem with the lying, free floyd fund, book, lemond threat, not being friendly to old friends(i emailed him years before he won the tour and saw him at talk in Lancaster before he won) and ugly facial hair. The initial doping to me is just the cost of doing business back then.I'm probably one of the few people on here who doesn't have an issue with what Floyd did. Lets take a look at the facts, most of the podium/winners of the past Tour de Frances have been dopers. Take any year in particular and look at the top ten. Here is 2005
1. Lance Armstrong
2. Ivan Basso
3. Jan Ullrich
4. Francisco Mancebo
5. Alexandre Vinokourov
6. Levi Leipheimer
7. Mickael Rasmussen
8. Cadel Evans
9. Floyd Landis
10. Oscar Pereiro Sio
6 of these 10 have been linked to doping, or suspended for doping. When you beat people who obviously are doping year after year, its hard to believe that you are clean as well.

If Floyd could get Livingston or Heras to corroborate what he said, Lance would be screwed. I do agree that Floyd is an a$$ for taking ppls money to help his defense. The UCI and other governing bodies should have an amnesty program. Admit all details of your doping prior to yesterday,(most importantly how you got away with it and with who) and get off scott free. Get caught tomorrow and you are gone forever.

No relation; I believe it's Andy Rihs and Bjarne Riis, one being from Switzerlad and the other Denmark. Is the owner of the BMC team, Andy Ris, related to Bjarna Ris?? I know Bjarna Ris gave back his yellow jersey afte admitting to doping. he was coaching the Cervelo team when he came clean. If it is his brother, it would give floyd's statement credibility- still ratty, but more believable.
There appears to be a reason these guys are professional cyclists and not physicists.McQuaid admits it might have looked bad to accept a $100,000 "contribution" from Lance Armstrong. Wow, you think?
Voted in. People are never smart that are voted in. I don't know how it happens. People lose their minds when you give them a ballot. He's president of the UCI!
