Check out the RI Sustainable Living Festival.

This is a very cool event with tons of workshops, vendors, and great music. Don't worry its not all hippies. We have gone a few times in the past and the large crowd (but its not crowded) is a great mix of families, students, professionals, and yea a few hippies. The workshops are a great way to learn all about alternative energies, green building, bio fuels, etc.

Its a great time and well worth the trip.

damn I wish this was closer to baltimore. Is it a tour of sorts or just a RI gig?

Its held every year by the Apeiron Institute in RI. So no, it doesn't travel.

Road trip? There is alot of great biking up here.

yes but theres no way i could pass by diablo on the way to a green convention and not stop.

I hear ya. It would also be kinda odd to be driving so far to attend a green expo.
