can someone tell or show me where exactly forks are measured at the crown with axle to crown measurements. is it where the crown meets the steer? i have a 100mm dj1 and im lookinf for a rigid that be closer to a dj1 thats been lowered to about 70 or 80mm

Bottom of the crown race to the center of your axle.

Take the published a2c of the dj1, subtract 20-30mm, and shoot for that height for your rigid. Maybe a little lower if you want to account for sag.
