Anyone know if the damper shaft on the RP3 is pressurized with nitrogen, or can it be bled like the DHX5? My Pro pedal and rebound have stopped working and was thinking of adding '' moar shimz'' anyways Any help would be great.
That's air, not Oxygen. Air is composed of 78% of Nitrogen, 21% of Oxygen, and about 1% of Carbon Dioxide and other rare gases such Argon, Krypton, Xenon, etc.
BTW, I think just BoostValve (cough, SPV, cough) equipped shocks are pressurized. Look for the BV sticker. If you can't find it, then yours isn't. Fox offers BV shocks with standard pressure settings: 175, 225 and 250 PSI IIRC, but for several bike companies they have manufactured shocks with custom pressures.
No, all Fox shocks are pressurized. Because the piston displaces fluid during the stroke you have to have an IFP with air or nitrogen on the other side. If it was just at atmospheric pressure the shock would cavitate so it has to be pressurized. BV equiped shocks have a pressure sensitive valve so changing this pressure affects compression damping as well as spring rate. In non BV/SPV shocks the IFP pressure only affects spring rate so custom pressures aren't offered.

Thanks guys! Until I find the right needle to re-pressurize the IFP chamber, I think I'll hold off on the custom tune. Have 2 needles for moto shocks, but discovered they are too big. Got an email in to RaceTech to see if they have the correct size, so hopefully I can do some tuning this week. Thanks again.
