But do you actually think your somewhat lowbrow opinion makes me angry....

but deal with the issues at hand. Instead of the typical response that are basic internet 101

otherwise you are just another e-tard....

I thought you were going to stop posting in this forum?
yeah, i just couldn't resist. I love Politics. And apparently this forum lacks disparity. I am simply trying to provide.

Have you noticed that I have ratcheted down the school yard BS of last evening. But yet others continue.....I certainly hope so.

Nah, Curtix had a much bigger vocabulary. He didn't understand a lick of it, but he at least had the words in his quiver.
That hurts Ohio, really man. Its hurts. ... that's all we are now... just these dots.....

do you know how to navigate this site? just curious?
no, not really; i'm still working on it. i only ask because after reading a handful of your posts, you give the impression of a 15 year old who regurgitates the political talk points his parents blab at the dinner table. if you haven't already gathered, the monkey has a bit of a left leaning. however a lot of the members here (a good handful of whom are not necessarily liberals) are very intelligent and well-spoken, and will readily challenge and discuss both conservative and liberal claims alike. if you continue to just spit the standard rhetoric, the general grade of your political discussions is not going to attract anyone...

good luck

which are?

you tossing out insults, but hiding behind second grade comebacks like your momma's skirt everytime one gets thrown back at you?

you failing to yet post a single fact to back up your opinions, and confusing the opinions of others as legitimate facts?

your horrendous grammar and spelling, followed by insulting everyone else's comprehension because they can't follow your best attempts at egnlishe?

fella, you've brought a fork to a gun-fight and the only reason you're still getting responses is because we're all laughing at your expense. I only clue you in on this because it's starting to get sad. you can rationalize it as liberal reactionism all you want, but the fact is several conservatives ($tinkle, manimal, burly'04) manage to post and argue quite successfully in these forums. Ol' stink regularly hands me my hide. So if you're wondering if it's just you, yes, it is just you.

do us all a favor and let the world know how much you support McCain and why, because I can think of few things that will turn more independents away from him.

Thanks, I guess I need it. I see your point exactly. And for those missteps I must apologize to everyone in this community. I hope to be able to engage in some healthy discussion on the politics of today. I just don't react very well when provoked. It's a character flaw, I realize, but one I will try and keep in check.

Thank you for you response. i believe I have made my reasons abundantly clear. I will not go into those missteps that I took last evening. I have no retort, as it was indeed shameful. My apologies if you or anyone else were offended. Thank you again for your reply.

Thank you my rigid hardliner socialist America hatin' brother.
I don't hate America, just its leadership and some of the people in it

Hating an area of land that has an excellent range of climates is silly.

When I say America I mean what this country is, what it was founded on, and the freedoms that is values so dear. Not the land. There is land with good climate range everywhere.

I hate what the U.S has become, so I guess I hate America, although the seeds of egalitarianism are good. I cannot love a country which cannot love egalitarianism.

I also hate what this country has become...but love the potential and the fact that huddled masses are still yearning to be free here. Somebody still believes the hype! The government is now for the special interests, by the special interests. No maverick or community organizer will be able to change it any time soon.

Like Twain said, "Loyalty to the country always, loyalty to the government when it deserves it".

Does that loyalty reach to the foundations of the country. The Constitution. In your opinion JohnE?

Sure, but each one of us has differing opinions on interpreting the Constitution. I dont think anyone here will disagree when I say that the Constitution has been mangled and twisted away from the original framers intent...
Planning for 13 colonies/states to be, that were intended to operate fairly autonomously with less than 300K (guess...) people to a republic with 305,284,000 people and 50 states...the thrust these days is a touch differnet than Jefferson and the boys were dealing with.

I don't know how much it has been twisted....
But I think in its current state the foundational ideas for the country still apply. A lot of the government is doing these days is just far reaching outside of its constitutional powers and responsibilities. The ideas that where penned down in that amazing charter scale. The number of people in the republic do not matter.

I couldn't exactly allow anyone with powers of perception that keen to remain on this board. Just imagine what else he'd be able to deduce about me.

Perhaps twisted is the wrong word. But the Constitution and its associated documents have not kept up with American society and the technological changes that have come with the 200+ years since it was signed. What was the population of the original 13 colonies, and what were the main problems and issues that they faced? Compare that to our population today and the problems we face...
The foundational premises are still good, I agree fully. And yeah, the gubbmnt has and does continually over reach its appointed powers.

I like to think I have an open mind, but freightGOD was getting under my skin. I, for one, will not miss him :happydance:
