probably don't want to ride on the ft. unless you like being eaten by ants... Best bet would be go down to capitol forest probably. I'm sure more will chime in.

are you military, there used to be some stuff on base at one time. i can get you more info if you need, other wise cap forest has some good riding.

cap forest is about a half hour south of the base. there is a mixture of all mountain, cross country, and some downhill ish stuff. there is one big hill in the middle of fort lewis, not to hard to find and it used to have some freeride stuff on it. i will see if i can find out more about that one for you as well

there used to be little, dinky trails in ft. steilacoom park. a lot closer that capitol forest, at least.
