Giving lessons

I know there is a lot if skilled riders on this forum. Have any of you ever thought of giving private lessons? Just to show them the basics and get them started.

I learned how to ride faster by riding behind people that were a bit faster then me, and setting up my bike like them as well. Then over time tailoring it to my personal preference.

I've been giving lessons to any friend that wanted to start riding (either dh or xc) if they asked me.
I do anywhere from 0 to 3 official lessons days a year. the rest is done on a continuous basis as i ride with newer people. giving them advise as i see them riding. I've alway been happy to share my experience. but it has never been a paying or official thing for me. I do it for fun and because i'm passionate about riding.

One of my friend started a professional coaching business, he's mainly working out of Quebec city but travel all around the province of quebec. Very skileld rider and good teacher.
