I always hate New Year's resolutions because no one sticks to them. What are you goals? Could be that big century, to lose a few pounds, or just to ride more. Here are my cycling goals for the new year:

  • Lose weight and figure out at what weight I produce the max wattage per lb
  • Top 5 in the Cross Crusade Series
  • To win the Willamette Series
  • To win the Psycho Series

It will be interesting to see if the wife is still as supportive of my cycling now that we have a child and I have a new job. I hope she is, because cycling is my outlet.

I was talking to the Adageo Energy guys because they have a development team, though that has seemed to have fizzled, though I don't completely have my hopes up yet.

Up sh*t creek, without a paddle
In order of importance...(ha...)

1. Acquire new components to fix bike from wreck back in September.
2. Get shoulder rehabbed enough to actually be able to do a freakin' push up...
3. Lose the 15 lbs. I put on while "rehabbing" on my couch with lots of ...uh...well...beer.
4. Do the STP (204 miles) in less than 12 hours (did it in 14 last year).
5. Get job.

There's probably some more....

Looks good guys. When I got my first Pro sponsorship I was so excited. I remember sitting at my desk at work staring at the phone and just feeling numb.

I don't really have a goal. :(

I'd like to do a few double centuries next year.

Perhaps do a multi-day bike tour.

I don't race/compete, so that's all for me.

1.Two chicks at the same time
2.Ride my bike a bunch
3.Do a few races and see what I can do now that my riding isn't limited to 5 or so hours a week.
4.Ride a bike on another continent
5.Get a job or something like that, or not.

You're going to need a million dollars

Here is the thing. You don't need to pay two chicks a million dollars, if you are buying it would cost you a lot less. The key is just to make two chicks think you have a million dollars.

Find time to ride without taking time away from family or work (the side effect should be to get in better shape and to drop some weight)

Put together a CX team and a MTB team.

Get something on my commuter bike by springtime that can carry my daughter OR build a sweet longtail that can carry my daughter. (see #1)

put more effort into branding and marketing

build stronger relationships

Race a 1-2 crit, pro xc race, pro slalom race, 19+ open bmx race and pro DH race in a 7 day period. You can do that with less than 2.5 hours of driving each way from my house.

Win a few pro DS races.
