Has anybody used a Gravity Dropper seatpost with a frame that has an interrupted seat tube? Do they clear the shock? I'm considering one for my '05 Enduro Comp.
Also, anybody used the Maverick Speedball? How's it vs. the Dropper?
I have used both. Any on-the-fly adjustable seatpost will make an interrupted seattube bike like Specialized work a whole lot better. You can have full extension and the real low position, which you can't always do with a Specialized.
I like the Speedball a little more. It is smoother and their remote is nicer.
The Gravity Dropper mechanism is clunky, but you have it customized for a 4 inch drop (or 2 inches) instead of the standard 3.
