Remember when DH used to be fun? all the polotics are just too much!

Used to be that you raced at a local series and hit up some regional races and hoped for a shot to get qualifed for Nat's. Now, it seems like ESC is trying to compete with GE and the focus is all lost... riders having to choose which venues to hit and still be in certain series for points contention, USAC placed the Nat's in Sept for whatever reason, and the list goes on an on....

Good Grief....
It's always been this way.....different faces and different races but the same stuff.

GravityDad, I just don't see it......out of the 8 GES race schedule only two races overlap.

Gravity East offers some great Mid Atlantic and North East Venues and we have all enjoyed traveling to these events...ESC is more of a Local mountain umbrella series which has helped the individual mountains that used to have individual series join together ...... yet Racers can choose to compete for the full series title or just stay local and compete in the mini series.... If I read the rules correctly

Given the number of drops your allowed in both Series .... It would be easy to compete in both the GES and ESC...if your fuel budget allowed.
