- Watch Top U.S. Pro Racers compete for Olympic Qualification points
- Support the U.S. Olympic Effort
- Ride in the new 4+ hour Marathon event

The Greenbrier Challenge is your gateway race this year!

It is an AMBC race for 49 separate categories of Beginner, Sport, and Expert/Semi-Pro riders.

It is 1 of the only 2 Qualification Races east of the Mississippi and north of North Carolina that will earn invitations for riders to attend the U.S. National Championships that are on the East Coast for the First Time Ever this year at Mt. Snow, Vt in July. The top 15 riders in each 5yr age bracket of Beg, Sport, Expert, Semi-Pro will get invitations. (Larger age groups will be reported in 5yr increments, even if run as a larger group at the race)

It is the Maryland State Championships and USAC-MTB licensed riders from any state are eligible for State Champ Titles/Medals.

It also now includes a World Class UCI Class 2 Race for Elite Riders . That is to Support the U.S. Olympic Effort, because the more UCI points that the U.S. top riders earn, gets more Olympic starting slots for the U.S. at the Olympics in 2008. The same UCI points are used by countries for qualification to be on that country's team, plus they help the starting positions for riders in UCI races in the future. Come see the Top Riders from the U.S., Canada, and other countries compete for points! Watch Todd Wells, Jeremiah Bishop, Chris Eatough, Sue Haywood, Katie Compton, ... blast through the terrain.

There will be a new Marathon length race starting early in the day and lasting 4+ hours for those of you who want to try that discipline.

TEAMS: Sign up for spots for Team Tents/Trailers or car spaces in the Team parking area overlooking the start/finish by giving Jim Carlson your space requirements at jcarlsonida[at]yahoo.com.
