Yeah, I like that map. It's the one that's unlocked after you beat the game. VERY similar to a map from Marathon (a Bungie title for Mac from the mid-90s), so I like it.Ridemonkey said:

Another really fun map is Ascension without shields. Makes things VERY interesting as far as weapons choice/etc...

A theory out there is that your charector in Marathon (a cyborg, super-soldier) is the same guy as the Master Chief. Only time will tell I suppose...
I still like reading the Marathon web pages out there, it's still interesting to me, but man, the graphics are a real time-warp.
Did you play all 3? Marathon 1, 2, and Infinity? I think the Prophets in Halo look a lot like the Pfhor (I think that was the correct race).
Anyway, marathon.bungie.org is great, same goes for halo.bungie.org.
I could spend all day reading about the Marathon world, AI, etc...

The coolest thing about bungie...they just released all 3 marathon games to open source. How ****ing cool is that? All mac for now, but the PC titles are on the way shortly I am told. wooo wooo

We need to get a weekly RM deathmatch going.
