Actually, this is gonna be a noogie-free thread. But about those damned headlocks...

Got a question regarding my Azonic Headlock. After I get my headset adjusted and my stem tightened, am I supposed to crank down on the Headlock so it's really tight, or do I just leave it where it was before I tightened the stem? Right now I'm just using it like a normal star nut, and it works just fine, but I wanted to know if I've been doing it wrong all along.

my headlocks get like a half turn or so past being tight. I have never had a problem with bearings in the headset, or stickey feeling headset. I figure better have it not loosen up.

Just set the bike up as you would always, just tighten it down a tad more as added insurance. You don't wanna crank down on it so much you'll break the bolt or anything, or else you'll be out $20 : P

Tighten the stem up, and remove it... you'll save weight that way ;)

Tightening it once the stem is tightened couldn't do much harm, but I don't really like headlocks, they're overkill for the purpose of bearing preload.
