I got my lastest edition of Endurance News from E-caps (hammer nutrition) and there is a little blurb in there that interested me. It states that if you take 1 scoop of their Whey Protein mixed in 4-6 oz of water right before you go to bed, HGH levels can be boosted up to 400% of natural nightime levels. This can aid in recovery. I have yet to do more internet research, but thought I'd pass the tip along.
